Be A Star Foundation, Inc.



Be A Star Foundation, Inc. has helped thousands of critically ill children and their families in our local area. The foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization voluntarily raises funds for POST (the Pediatric Oncology Support Team) and the Nicklaus Childrens Health Care Foundation.

Pediatric Oncology Support Team (POST)

POST helps children with cancer and their families deal with the impact of diagnosis and treatment. The teams mission is to provide a complete range of free services to pediatric oncology patients, both inpatient and outpatient, within a six county area in South Florida, regardless of treatment site. POST is staffed by a highly qualified team of dedicated professionals which includes: a child-family counselors, case manager and care coordinators. Nicklaus Children's Healthcare Foundation

The Nicklaus Childrens Health Care Foundation, a non-profit organization, was established to provide support for activities that advance and enhance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of childhood diseases and disorders. To carry out their mission the Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation supports not-forprofit childrens health care programs and projects. ( www.nchcf.org )
