Be A Star Foundation, Inc., is a federally and state registered nonprofit corporation. Its Florida registration number is CH19229. It has obtained 501(c)(3) status from the Internal Revenue Service and contributions to it will be deductible. There are no paid solicitors and 100% of each contribution is received by the corporation for its general nonprofit purposes, which include support of Leukemia research and awareness, education and scientific study, and the welfare of children. Particular grants and contributions to these causes is determined by the board of directors of the corporation. Requests for information concerning the corporation, financial statements, or the amount of contribution that is deductible should be made to legal counsel to the corporation: Joseph C. Kempe, Professional Association, Attorneys and Counselors at Law, 941 N. Highway A1A, Jupiter, Florida 33477 or Phone 561-747-7300. If your charitable contribution to the corporation is less than $250, no written acknowledgement other than this statement will be provided for purposes of substantiating your donation.
